Local school groups in and around Brattleboro, Vermont, have partnered with Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center (BEEC) to study and share findings about nearby vernal pools. By reading our blog we hope you will learn about this exciting and unique aquatic habitat. We also invite you to share your vernal pool data and observations.
Sunday, March 25, 2012: 11 pm at the pond/vernal pool on Ames Hill Rd (just west of Cow path Forty) six to eight spotted salamanders swimming. Also, wood frogs matting, and wood frog egg masses.
